You are absolutely right about staying loose and relaxed when tapping. Makes a huge difference and allows feet to move faster. Plus it is more enjoyable.

I turned 61 on June 13th of this year and asked my family for tap shoes for my birthday. I have wanted a pair of tap shoes and wanted to learn how to tap dance my entire life. I watched no less than 10 other time step tutorials and just couldn’t seem to put it together. Your video explains it better than all of the others I’ve watched! So glad to have found you! Of course it’s not perfect yet but I will keep trying! This 61 year old brain and my muscle memory are struggling a little but I will tap on until I get it!
